another cemetery... This week one more of the Magnificient Seven Victorian Garden Cemeteries, Abney Park.
Opened in 1840 strictly for those that were considered dissenters, or rather those that didn't attend the Church of England it was an interesting collection of high Celtic crosses

Maybe it was because of its dissenters "status", but this visit paled in comparison to the others. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing… grandeur in honouring one’s self after the fact. I still hold true that it our memories of those that have past that help keep their spirit alive.Did I just get philosophical? -Ack back to the photos.
